<< BackClass of 1992 Reunion
A significant group of Sigs (classes of 91-93) gathered in Oxford from January 29-31st to celebrate: our lasting friendships; the best college hockey team in America, and 20 years since “skating” through pledge ship. Needless to say, the weekend unleashed a torrent of great memories and created several new ones. We’d like to think we are in the same shape as 1992 and have the same amount of hair (just not parted in the middle) but the impression we made on campus was aptly summed up by a student we overheard talking to her friends at Top Deck, “it must be Sigma Chi Dad’s weekend.”
A special part of our weekend was the Friday evening gathering at the Chapter House. Although the room designs have changed (no one could direct me to 3 rights, left, left), fortunately, not much else has---in particular, the active brotherhood. We were greeted by a terrific group of guys eager to share their Sigma Chi experience. We were relieved to learn the best of our traditions live on but one thing is quite different---they actually exceed the all man’s grade point average. We want to thank the active chapter for their hospitality and for indulging us in our story-telling. This is a group that is worthy of our support, financial and otherwise.
